At the British Blue Cattle Society's first event of 2017 - the Show and Sale of Pedigree Cattle , incorporating the Borber Club Calf show - held at Carlisle on January 27th the PENDLE herd achieved excellent reults both in the show and sale rings from its young team of bulls and heifers.

PENDLE JAGER MEISTER, a very promising young bull by Newton Blues Chico out of a home bred cow Pendle Hocus Pocus, a Blue Stone Union Jack daughter, came 2nd in his class in the show ring and went on to achieve the second highest price on the day at 9,500gns.

PENDLE KUNG FU PANDA, a natural born bull by Jalon De Martinpre, also out of our home bred cow Pendle Hocus Pocus, a Blue Stone Union Jack daughter, sold for 5,500gns.

PENDLE LOLLIPOP, a naturally born heifer by Blue Stone Union Jack again out of a home bred cow Pendle Fern by Greystone Bonzer, sold to 2,500gns.

Not to be oudone by her fellow herd members PENDLE LIQUORICE, a 12 month old heifer by Blue Stone Union Jack out of one of our show cows, Pendle Rose, herself by Cristal De Somme, came 2nd in her class of 7 heifers born between 1/1/2016 and 12/2/2016.

One to watch for the future.
