With many of BLUE STONE UNION JACK’s quality heifers retained within the herd Mark & Elaine decided it was time to purchase a new stock bull. UNION JACK went off to take up duties with a commercial herd and the hunt began for a new herd sire.
At the recent Border British Blue Club sale in Carlisle they found what they were looking for in GREYSTONE BONZER and purchased him for 18,000gns beating off many other admirers around the sale ring.
BONZER, by Adagio Du Stordeur out of Greystone Velcro is a complete outcross bull for the herd and was naturally born from a heifer (non ET). It is hoped that he will continue the quality breeding that they strive for.
